Embroidery
Embroidery is a decorative technique where designs are stitched directly onto fabric using thread. The process typically involves digitizing the artwork into a digital file that guides a computerized embroidery machine. The machine then uses needles to apply the threads in the desired pattern, creating intricate and durable designs. Embroidery is commonly used for logos, text, and decorative patterns on items like clothing, hats, and accessories, offering a professional and textured finish that is long-lasting. It should be noted, we also offer hand embroidery for specific projects that best suit it, as shown in the hand knit example above.
Pros
- Durability
- High-quality method of branding
- Can be done on almost any type of fabric (not recommended for super stretchy fabric)
- More suitable for heavier fabrics
- There is a digitizing set-up fee required for all graphics prior to embroidering
- Not as cost effective for small runs
- There are certain limitations on size and location of embroidery placements
- Not the ideal method for finely detailed or multi coloured graphics
Price of Embroidery is dependent on size of the graphic, stitch count, colours in design, and quantity of pieces.
